Visiting this website
The website is delivered through a self-operated Caddy infrastructure. Access logging is not enabled for Swissites, so no permanent access history is stored. To transmit the site, the server temporarily processes connection data such as the IP address, time, requested address and technical browser information.
Technical Caddy service messages are written to a new file each day. No automatic deletion period is currently configured for these diagnostic logs. In the event of an error, they may contain technical connection details and are used solely to keep the infrastructure secure and available.
Purposes and grounds
We process connection and diagnostic data to deliver the website, defend against attacks and resolve technical errors. This processing is based on our legitimate interest in providing a safe and reliable website.
We process information sent by email or WhatsApp to answer your enquiry and, at your request, prepare a possible collaboration. This is based on your voluntary contact, pre-contractual steps and our legitimate interest in handling business enquiries.
Enquiry form
When you send the enquiry form, your entries go to our own server. It forwards them to us by email through Infomaniak in Switzerland and sends you a short confirmation at the address you gave; from then on they are treated like any other email to us. Your entries are not stored on the server. To prevent abuse, it keeps your IP address in memory for at most one hour; it is neither stored nor logged. If the server cannot be reached, you can open the prepared enquiry in your email program and send it from there. Nothing is stored in your browser.
Telling us how you found us is optional. We use it to understand which channels enquiries come through.
Email contact and recipients
When you email us, we process your email address and the information you provide voluntarily. Email traffic is handled by Infomaniak Network SA as a technical service provider. Access is limited to the people responsible for Swissites and the technical providers required to operate the service.
Infomaniak operates the mail service in data centres in Switzerland. Email contact does not involve any intended transfer of your data abroad. Further disclosure occurs only where required by law.
WhatsApp contact
When you message us on WhatsApp, we process your phone number, profile name and the messages and files you send us in order to answer your enquiry. The service is operated by WhatsApp Ireland Limited, part of the Meta group. Data, in particular metadata, may be transferred to the United States and other countries; WhatsApp’s privacy policy applies.
No data is sent to WhatsApp until you open the link or message us. For confidential information we recommend email.
Booking a call
When you book an initial call on this website, we process your name, your email address, the company you choose to give and the time you pick, in order to arrange and hold the call. This is based on your request and pre-contractual steps. Bookings go through our own server; nothing is loaded from Google when you visit the website.
For the calendar and the video call we use Google Calendar and Google Meet, provided by Google Ireland Limited. Google receives the details above and provides the link to the call. Data may be transferred to the United States; Google LLC is certified under the Swiss-U.S. Data Privacy Framework. Google’s privacy policy applies to taking part in Google Meet.
The confirmation and any changes to you, and the booking notice to us, are sent by email through Infomaniak in Switzerland. To prevent abuse, our server keeps your IP address in memory for at most one hour; it is neither stored nor logged. We delete booked calls from the calendar once they are no longer needed to handle your enquiry.
Retention
Non-binding enquiries by email or WhatsApp are deleted once the enquiry is complete unless a legal retention duty or legitimate business reason requires longer storage. The current retention of technical diagnostic logs is described under “Visiting this website”.
